A plant with deep roots
Wachuma, also known as San Pedro, is a cactus with a long place in Andean ceremonial traditions. Its story belongs to the landscapes and communities that have cared for this knowledge across generations.
Standing tall and patient, the cactus offers a beautiful image of rootedness: held by the earth, shaped by the seasons and growing in its own time.
Under the open sky
At Motherland, nature welcomes you in the simplest ways — sunlight dancing through the leaves, birdsong in the garden, bare feet on the earth and the gentle presence of animals. Surrounded by trees and plants, there is space to soften, breathe and find your own rhythm again.
This is the spirit in which I welcome you: with time to slow down, space for reflection and an open curiosity about your own experience.
Come with your questions, your intention, or simply a wish to step out of the everyday rush. There is room here to listen, to notice and to spend a little time with yourself.
A balance, with space to integrate
In our four-day retreat, Ayahuasca and Wachuma are brought together within a rhythm of ceremony, rest and connection with nature. We make room for both inward reflection and the simple experience of being here, together, in the world around us.
Our intention in including Wachuma is to make space for integration to begin during the retreat. With time outdoors, quiet reflection and conversation, you can begin to explore what your experience means to you and what you may wish to carry into daily life.
There is no need to find all the words at once. Some things become clearer in conversation; others need stillness and time. At Motherland, we leave room for both.
